Our dreams for the future

“Change is not a dream. It is a decision. And we at Maya Ko Sansar have already made that decision.”

At Maya Ko Sansar (World of Love), our vision of the future is bold, inclusive, and rooted in compassion. We dream of a Nepal where no one is left behind—where every person, no matter their gender identity, profession, health status, or age, can live with dignity, safety, and pride.

We imagine a future where:

  • Equality and justice are not privileges for a few—but basic rights for all. Whether someone is a transgender woman, a male or female sex worker, a person living with drug dependency, or an elderly LGBTQIA+ individual, they will no longer be ignored or pushed to the margins. Instead, they will be welcomed, supported, and protected by the society and systems meant to serve them.

  • Transgender and LGBTQIA+ individuals will lead in every field— as teachers, police officers, healthcare workers, government officials, business owners, and even political leaders. Their lived experiences, intelligence, and strength will shape national policies and social attitudes. They will no longer be seen only as victims of oppression, but as builders of progress.

  • Communities will be more compassionate and informed. Ignorance, fear, and prejudice will be replaced by awareness, empathy, and solidarity. Children will grow up learning that diversity is not something to fear, but something to celebrate.

  • No one will live in fear of harassment, violence, or rejection. Trans women walking the streets at night will not be seen as criminals, but as workers trying to earn a living. Elderly LGBTQIA+ individuals will not spend their last years in isolation but in care, safety, and honor.

  • Children of sex workers will go to school proudly, knowing their parents’ profession does not define their worth. They will dream big—becoming doctors, artists, athletes, or anything they choose to be—with equal access to opportunity and support.

  • Words like “Chhakka,” “Hijra,” or “Nachaune” will no longer be used to insult, but instead, people will learn and respect correct gender terms, chosen names, and pronouns. Language will become a tool of inclusion, not harm.

  • Mental health and emotional well-being will be taken seriously. Trans people and sex workers will have access to safe, stigma-free counseling, trauma healing, and substance rehabilitation. They will no longer suffer in silence.

  • Government, institutions, and society will collaborate to ensure that marginalized voices are not only heard but placed at the center of decision-making. Policies will be created with us, not for us.

The Future Is Ours to Create

At Maya Ko Sansar (World of Love), we don’t wait for change—we drive it.
We don’t wish for respect—we demand it.
We don’t hope for dignity—we build it.
We believe that real transformation begins when those who were silenced become the loudest voices for justice.

We are building a Nepal where difference is not danger, where identity is not a crime, and where love is not a shameful secret, but a celebration of humanity in all its forms.

We know the road ahead is long and often difficult. But together—with our community, our allies, and our courage—we will move forward.

Because our dreams are not just dreams. They are blueprints for a better tomorrow.
