In 2025, Maya Ko Sansar focused on enhancing the effectiveness and accountability of its leadership by organizing a comprehensive capacity-building program for its board members. This program aimed to improve transparency and responsibility within the organization’s operations. Board members received specialized training in key areas such as leadership skills, decision-making, policy implementation, and strategic planning. These sessions empowered the board to take more informed and proactive roles in guiding the organization’s growth, ensuring that Maya Ko Sansar remains strong, accountable, and aligned with its mission to support transgender and sex worker communities across Nepal. This initiative marked a significant step toward professionalizing governance and fostering sustainable development within the organization.
