On 2081/9/13 and 14 (December 28–29, 2024), Maya Ko Sansar (World of Love) successfully organized a one-night, one-day residential leadership training program for its board members at Tokha Lanka Resort. The primary goal of this session was to strengthen the understanding and capacity of board members regarding their roles, responsibilities, and strategic leadership within the organization.
This initiative was designed to ensure that board members could contribute more meaningfully to Maya Ko Sansar’s long-term vision, mission, and impact. Through in-depth discussions and expert-led sessions, participants gained clarity on their responsibilities in policy-making, legal compliance, ethical governance, and upholding the core values of the organization.

A major highlight of the event was an engaging and insightful session led by Advocate Sujan Pant, who elaborated on the legal and ethical obligations of board members. Advocate Pant emphasized the vital role that governance bodies play in ensuring transparency, accountability, and strategic direction in nonprofit organizations. He outlined how board members are not just figureheads but key guardians of an institution’s integrity and progress.
Board members also reflected on their own experiences and participated in practical discussions that deepened their understanding of decision-making, leadership ethics, and effective communication.
We strongly believe that strong boards create strong institutions. This training gave our board members renewed energy and focus, helping us align better as a team committed to social justice and gender equality.
Maya Ko Sansar is sincerely thankful to our financial partner, TEWA, for supporting this important capacity-building effort. Their contribution played a key role in making the program possible.
Together, we move forward—stronger, wiser, and more united than ever.
