We are delighted to share that Maya Ko Sansar (World of Love) successfully organized a vibrant and heartwarming community picnic at Lakhuri Bhanjyang. This event was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of unity, self-reliance, and collective joy.
The picnic was made possible through funds primarily raised during our Deusi-Bhailo cultural fundraising activities. For those community members who were unable to participate in Deusi-Bhailo but wanted to join the picnic, we made announcements through our Messenger group. These members generously contributed at the picnic venue itself, ensuring that no one was left out.
Though there was a slight financial shortfall during the planning phase, Maya Ko Sansar managed the gap with internal adjustments and teamwork. One of the highlights of the picnic was that we did not hire any catering services—all the food was lovingly prepared by our own team members. This added a personal touch and reflected our deep-rooted value: “There is strength in unity.”
The event was filled with laughter, bonding, music, shared meals, and unforgettable moments. It became a true representation of what community means: collaboration, inclusion, and mutual support.
